Picked up a set of used Bavarian wheels and 420S Nitto tires with a decent amount of tread left for $450 today for the SHO, sure they aren’t Pilot Super Sports or RE71r’s but they have to better than the Michelin Primacy MXM4's that are on it now.

The wheels need to be cleaned up and maybe hit with some Plasti-dip, but they were cheap, reviews say these tires are horribad in the snow, so i will wait until things warm up here in Michigan before I install them.

The good news is that Pilot Super Sports are grossly overrated anyways.

Judging from your previous post this is what you blew your bonus on?

I’ve always been faster in a straight line, and interestingly both cars have exactly the same skidpad numbers (probably due to both cars having prius tires from the factory)

This was just some “walking around money” I had laying around. I’m thinking the suspension kit for the Monte when bonus actually hits

;) just messing with you. But I have the almighty Primacy High Performances, where you have normal Primacies with AWD.

I may have you beat in a slalom?

Well, from what I can find from Edmunds FRS 67 mph through their slalom a 2010 SHO (the 2013's and up have some revised suspension bits) did it at 64 mph. Short track/Autocross, you can take me, but on the straight at Grattan, I've got a little over a half a mile to pass you.

C7 Corvette. I’ve certainly driven them on other cars, but nothing sticks out as much as the stingray.

Next recommendation? Ehhh, I’d give these a look:

Hankook Ventus RS3 (If you can get Version 1, do it)

Direzza ZII Star Specs (LOADS of grip for small cars, but they heat cycle out pretty quickly)

Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R (I actually don’t like these, but others do)

BF Goodrich G-Force Rival S

This is just my experiential knowledge talking. I’m sure you could get a lot of info online that would speak more specifically to your needs and car. All of the above are 200TW tires that are great for autocrossing.

Hey now I don’t know about you, but I don’t enjoy having to iron weekly, so that is my go-to business-casual, just enough to get away with it, attire of choice!

If I’m not seeing a customer, polo and khakis are good enough!

Lol, understandable, but I live with Travis and those are his wear-around-the-house comfy clothes, not just business attire.

You aren’t the first person to say that about PSS (Being overrated) so I figured I would ask what else you thought were better tires
